Free Legal Help
Senior Citizen Law Project of Vermont Legal Aid
We represent seniors 60 and over in a wide range of legal problems. We focus on clients with the greatest social and economic need, but we do not have income guidelines or limits. We also have a list of private attorneys who have agreed to help low income seniors for a reduced fee, often $50 or less. If you have a legal problem, call the SCLP at (800) 889-2047 to see if you are eligible for assistance.
We also run free legal advice clinics for seniors
around the state at senior centers. A list of upcoming clinics is here.
