2023 Vermont Flooding - Updated 5/3/2024
What is a Long-Term Recovery Group (LTRG)?
LTRGs bring together community organizations – such as nonprofits, faith-based organizations, government representatives and businesses – to help people with long-term recovery needs after a disaster.
What they do:
- unite community members
- pool resources
- communicate important information
- organize volunteers, and
- bring in resources and money to help address people’s unmet needs.
Depending on the capacity and mission of the LTRG, they may be able to help you with:
- rental assistance
